S.O.S. for Information Literacy and its resources consisting of a collection of information and literacy-related lesson plans and supporting media exists for the benefit of educational practitioners--please use them in your teaching activities and adapt them for your classroom, library media center, or academic library as necessary. It is also acceptable to link to a lesson plan from your own or your school or college library's website without express permission.
Please be aware, however, that ownership of most lesson plans included in this collection is retained by the lesson plan author. Requests for permission to use the lessons in situations other than instructional practice or outside accepted educational fair use guidelines must be made to the author noted on the lesson plan. This includes requests to reproduce or redistribute lesson plans in publications or other media.
