In this Reflections video, Sarah Sachs, the Youth Services Director at a public library describes a collaborative project with a seventh grade English teacher to introduce students to the public library. For most students, their last formal visit to the library was in first grade. She re-purposed an instrument used with adults to create a Library Hunt instrument for seventh graders. This engaging project involved six consecutive field trips to the public library during English periods.
