YouTube Video - Journey to America
This student interviewed a family member, and then created a video slide-show about what they learned. This is a great idea for those of you who also gather images from your relatives, and can be done in the library.
When watching the video, pay careful attention to how the immigrants felt during their journey to America, and what happened to them once they arrived on Ellis Island.
