What are Periodicals?
Periodicals are publications that are issued at regular intervals, daily, weekly, monthly or even quarterly.
It is useful to think of periodicals in three main categories. Each type of periodical has unique parts and usually contains different types of articles.
The three main categories of periodicals are

(2) magazines
(3) journals
