This lesson is developed for high school students. It is meant to introduce them to periodicals as a research source especially when investigating current events. This buILder addresses New York State Information Literacy Standards which state:
The student who is information literate accesses information efficiently and effectively
The student who is information literate evaluates information critically and competently
The student who is information literate uses information accurately and creatively
