Guess Who Animal Cracker Style

Rules of the game: This game is for 2 players.  Each player gets a game board with 8 animals on it.  There are 8 playing cards with these same animals on them. Mix up the playing cards and place them face down on the table. Each player picks one card. Do not show your card to the other player.

The object of the game is to guess the other player’s animal by taking turns asking “research” questions that can be answered by a “yes” or “no” answer.  For example: “Does your animal fly?” If the other player says, “yes”, then you can cross out all of the animals on your game board that do not fly.  Keep asking “yes” or “no” questions until only one animal remains on your game board. You may guess the other player’s animal on your next turn.

The game ends when one player correctly guesses the other player’s animal. Remember- use your research skills to help guess the other player’s identity. Good luck!

Game Board & Cards: Print out 3 copies of the following page of animal pictures. Use 2 copies for the game board (one for each player). Each individual animal on the 3rd copy of the animal pictures should be cut out, these will be the cards for the game. Print out additional game boards as needed.
