Creating Your Glog: If you are asking yourself the question "What is a glog?" well the answer is quite simple. A Glog is an interactive digital poster that is created online by incorporating text, images, sound and video about any given topic. It is a technology tool that is very simple and easy to use. I have created my own glog to give you an idea of what a digital poster can look like and show you just how simple glogging really is. Click on Human Body Systems Research Poster and the link will take you to my poster. After you check out my Glog you and your partner need to begin thinking about some of the questions below.

What type of elements did I use in my poster?

Did the graphics enhance the overall look of my poster?

Was the information (text) provided useful and informative?

How did I incorporate music and video into my poster?

What are some things you and your partner could do to make your poster informative, interactive and attractive? Sometimes looking at a student sample is helpful so I have provided two links to educational posters created by students in the 7th grade.

A poster can be more than one page so do not worry about not having enough space to create.

Once you and your partner have a good understanding of what a glog is you can go to Step Four: Learning How to Create a Glog. A step by step tutorial on creating a glog has been provided.
