Student applies relevant information and can strongly defend final car decision when challenged.

 Grammar and Spelling

The student uses correct spelling and grammar close to 100% of the time (fewer than three errors).

 

The student makes less six grammar and spelling errors.

 

 

 

 

 

The student makes six to ten spelling and grammar errors.

 

 

 

 

The student has over ten errors in spelling and grammar. 

 

 

 

 

 

 Format

The student uses a font size and style that is appropriate.  The spacing is appropriate and allows for easy reading of the material.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The student may have made one error in formatting (such as an inappropriate font style) but all other formatting factors are appropriate. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The student has made two errors in formatting that cause the record to be difficult to read.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The student has created a record with no spacing and has not used an appropriate font size or style.  The record is very difficult to read.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Citations and organizational sheets All sources are cited appropriately. Student turns in all required resource sheets and they are completed.
One or two sources are not cited. Student turns in most of the required resource sheets and they are all at least 3/4 complete. Three or four sources are not cited. Some of the resource sheets are turned in but they are only 1/2 complete.
More than four sources are not cited. The resource sheets are not turned in or are turned in but mostly incomplete.


Grades will be determined by averaging together the number of stars given in each category.  Then an overall grade will be given as follows:
**** (18-20 points)= A (Great Job)
 *** =(16-17 points)= B (Good Job)
  ** =(14-15 points)=C (Okay Job)
   * =(less than 14 points)=D (Come talk to me about the presentation)

 

BONUS: Remember, you can earn up to two extra points for chatting up an expert and citing the interview!
